If you like Valpolicella - the easy-drinking younger pal to Amarone - with its tangy red fruits, soft-ish tannins, and dusty earth notes, check out these alternatives.
If you want to try something even lighter than Valpolicella, look for Bardolino. It's like the baby brother to Valpolicella and it's a terrific first-bottle-of-the-night wine with a little chill on it.
